Walk and colectivos for everything inside Playa. ADO for Tulum or Cancún. Taxis only for luggage or late at night — and always agree on the price before you get in. Never pay the first number they say.

Free

5th Avenue (La Quinta) and the beach strip are very walkable and scenic. Most tourist spots are within easy reach on foot.

Ferry to Cozumel

$15–20 USD round trip

Two companies run regular ferries to Cozumel island. Great for a day trip.

  • Ferries depart from the passenger ferry dock on 1st Ave

Bike Rental

$5–10 USD/day

Great for exploring beyond 5th Avenue. Several rental spots along La Quinta.
